F, that is a great prize. Kununurra has recently been announced as having its own screening of Australia for the launch.
Scott, the reaction seems to have been very positive. With the Aussie Peso dropping recently, it may help the campaign's effectiveness.

I just heard about a contest on hautelook.com to win their own private screening of the new movie Australia in any city in America. Fox (who produced the movie) will rent out a theater and host a private screening for the winner and 50 of their closest friends. I just joined the site to enter the contest!

Totally agree, I love the new Tourism Australia Ads - it comes a long way from the old 1984 Hoges "Shrimp on the Bar-bie" and "bloody hell are ya" ads.

The production quality is second to none - good on yas Baz and Bruce (good Aussie bloke names or what!)

Interestingly this could just easily watch this in a wide screen cinema as on the TV or via the web. In just a day Youtube is up to 15,000 plays.

It will be interesting to see how this flows through not only the gates at the airport but the overall Australian level of service we provide.
